Wie kan mij meer info geven over t-material?
Heeft er iemand ervaring mee?
Voor/nadelen van het materiaal.
Voeg ik het toe aan poederklei etc?

    Die leveren t-material.
    Er staat een stooktemperatuur bij, maar ongetwijfeld kun je ze alle vragen die je hebt via de e-mail stellen.

    Een aantal jaren geleden was er een discussie op "Clay Art "waar men zeer lovend was over dat T-Material kijk maar:

    T Material is wonderful clay! I lived in England for a while and was =
    introduced to this clay at a Jane Perryman workshop. T Material seemed =
    to be favored by handbuilders ( I suppose you could throw with it but it =
    would be rough on your hands) who did Raku, smoke and other types of =
    alternative firings. It has outstanding thermal shock abilities. It =
    also has the ability to allow the potter to attach wet to almost =
    completely dry without cracks. Jane Perryman, at that time, was =
    building large vessels which were extremely thin. If she could not =
    reach inside a vessel to scrape, thin and smooth the inside, she would =
    cut the nearly dry vessel in half, scrape and smooth and then reattach =
    it. These vessels were then smoke fired without a single crack! Many =
    potters also mixed T Material 50-50 with terracotta or porcelain for a =
    smooth texture which was more easily burnished. Dave Roberts and =
    Gabriella Koch are other British Potters who also use T Material. This =
    clay is VERY expensive to get here in the states and there is really =
    nothing here like it that I know.

    Hartelijk bedankt voor jullie reacties.
    Ondertussen heb ik wat afgebeld en gemaild.
    In Nederland verkoopt Keramikos het.
    Ze vertelde mij dat zij waarschijnlijk de enigen zijn.
    In Belgie verkoopt van Leemputten het niet meer.
    Van Colpaert heb ik nog geen reactie.
    Het is inderdaad duur, 70 euro voor 25 kilo, maar ik ga toch de gok wagen.
    Klinkt inderdaad erg lovend wat er geschreven is.
